Whitewater

Kupe Canoe club runs a variety of trips. These range from Grade 2 trips for beginners on local rivers, such as the Otaki and Waohine right through to Grade 5 trips for experts on the Rangitikei and Wairoa. There are also one or two trips to the Buller each year.

Kupe run a local grade 2 trip suitable for beginner paddlers each month. These traditionally happen on the second Sunday of the month, but the exact date can vary dependent on conditions and instructor availability. Come along to Wednesday's pool night or give Marty or David a call to find out what's happening this month.

Multisport

Kupe has a large number of multisport members and theres always something going on. From September through to March there are a series of races at Greta Point (where the boat storage is). Kupe will orgainse the races after Christmas, while Mana Kayaking will organise the races before Christmas. All welcome. Races start at 6.30 with registration at 6.00pm so come on down and make yourself known!.
