24 January Tuesday Night Race

Yet again, another good turn out for racing. A slight Southerly made for better conditions that last week. Bumpiness getting out of the bay was soon forgotten as paddlers headed round to the smooth waters of O'Bay.

 

We had a few burglars this week (yes - that means you, Martin Leighton!) and welcomed some smiling faces back from the holiday break. B grade was a pretty close group with most paddlers coming in mere seconds apart. Special mention must go to Kath "limpet'' Allan who sensibly utilised some of our best ever turn out of doubles - 3 in one race is pretty noteworthy!

The long range forecast for next Tuesday is for northwesterlies. Racing should be at Evans bay but make sure you check this website at noon on Tuesday's for a confir med location. Look out for Sandy to register.
