Join Kupe Canoe Club
We welcome all paddlers to join the club! In order to do so just download a membership form (PDF) and send it in to us. Refer to the note at the bottom of this page on how and when memberships are processed. This club is staffed by volunteers from its membership so go easy on them if its not provisioned instantly. Please also read our Code of Conduct.

Membership processing
Once approved you will be allocated a berth and issued with a swipe card (if storage is available and you have requested it).
Kupe Boat Storage
Kupe enjoys fantastic boat storage facilities at Evans Bay for both single and double kayaks.
To apply to get your boat stored all you have to do is become a member and request storage.
Boat storage is open to current paid-up members of the club and available on a first come first serve basis.
Access cards
All members must pay a deposit to cover the cost of your card and its activation. This deposit will be refunded should you decide to cease membership - provided your card is returned within one month of your membership lapsing.
There are a number of detailed access information cards placed strategically around the storage facility for reference, please make yourself familiar with these.
If you are unfortunate enough to lose your card in the first instance please advise the membership officer - we will then cancel the card on the access system. There is a card replacement fee for issuance of new cards.
